Recommendations for your reading list
It's important to take time to read, learn and reflect. Here's some recommendations from some of the Coaching Care Creativity guests
Here’s some recommendations to add to your listening and reading list…alongside all the content you get from Coaching Care Creativity! The suggestions are from some of Coaching Care Creativity’s contributors (and me!).
Sam Larner recommends:
‘How to Win the Premier League’ by Ian Graham. It’s is a really good, football focussed, book about analysis and specifically how to work with different team members to make analysis a part of the process.
Lucy Brown recommends:
‘Eleven Rings: The Soul of Success’ by Phil Jackson. The book is about different approaches to coaching different personalities, learnings. It also explored how to build a winning culture but whilst being authentic
Andy Stevens recommends:
‘Belonging’ by Owen Eastwood. It’s about understanding relationships and how the dynamics can change depending on who you’re with.
Jess recommends:
‘Myths of Sport Coaching’ edited Dr Amy Whitehead & Jenny Coe. This book looks at supported evidence based practice and is a good chance to reflect upon your coaching practice.
Jess recommends (again):
‘The Story of Art without Men’ by Katy Hessel. I’ve included the book as a recommendation, but the podcast is equally special. Katy Hessel’s podcast talks to different artists and curators. The focus is on shining a light on female artists (including some that are famous and some that may have been forgotten). The discussions on art and the creative process might just offer a spark for your practice.
